TuneIn has removed SomaFM in the UK

TuneIn has removed SomaFM and other non-UK stations from their directory listings for UK listeners. This was entirely their decision. We have not blocked our streams, and you can still listen using our apps, our web player, and on Sonos by adding a custom radio URL; and on Alexa/Echo by installing our Alexa Skill. Just say "Alexa, Open SomaFM" and "Alexa tell SomaFM Play Groove Salad (or whatever channel you want to listen to).

Google Home does not have a way to add custom radio URLs at this time. However, both our Android App and iOS App support casting to Google Home speakers.

Adding SomaFM Channels to Sonos without TuneIn

The easiest solution is addiing "myTuner Radio" as a Sonos music service. It includes all SomaFM stations. How to Add myTuner Radio to Sonos

Alternatively, you can manually add a stream URL to Sonos. In the Sonos app, from the "Manage" menu -> Add Radio Station, add the URL for the stream (see below) and then save to favorites. [More details]

Each of our channel's pages have a link on the left that says "Direct Stream Links." and choose the "Main PLS" for the bandwidth/format you prefer. The "Main PLS" contains multiple servers for redundancy and high availability, but some players require the "Direct URL" to work. If the Main PLS isn't accepted by your player, try the other.
