Playback audio over Chromecast and Chrome Audio devices, as well as Qualcomm AllPlay powered wireless speakers.

There's also a section for SomaFM news and happenings.

If you're on 3G or WiFi, you have access to our high quality 64k AAC-HE streams which sound amazing... higher quality than 128k MP3 and many of the other "big" internet radio services out there. And our low bandwidth 32k aacPlus streams work on slower cell networks, and still sound as good as 128k MP3 streams in most cases.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why do you need my device ID and caller status when installing?

A: We have to use the "READ_PHONE_STATE" API (which includes device ID and caller status) to pause the stream when a call comes in. SomaFM doesn't use any of the information except to get the state of calls in order to properly mute or silence the music.

Q: Will there Chromecast support?

A: The current version has Chromecast and Chrome Audio support, as well as support for Qualcomm AllPlay powered wireless speakers.
